This .38 Special ammunition from Black Hills is optimize for cowboy action shooting. Each round is load with a heavy 158 grain solid cast bullet in a semi-wadcutter profile. Fire at a relatively low muzzle velocity of 800 feet per second, these projectiles work well for steel and paper target shooting and deliver mild recoil to make faster follow up shots easier. The flat nose of these rounds also works well in rifles with tubular magazines.
